Let’s face it…When a two year old is involved you do what they say! This little bug was absolutely adorable last night and had THE BEST facial expressions and laugh. She ran the show and we went with it. Happy two year old = Happy family photographer! Lots more to come 🙂

This session had to be rescheduled so many times, but once we finally got to do it the light was so beautiful and we had so many good laughs. Not sure if they were mainly at me since my hair was stuck in a fir tree, but it’s all good 😉

Fall is such a lovely time of year for photos in St. Albert. These beautiful children were such a treat to photograph as they loved to play with the leaves, were SUPER polite and not one whine about the chilly morning at all! Way to go kids (and parents)!

Photography in Edmonton can be challenging due to the weather at times, but when all the stars line up and you are treated to beautiful light you end up with gorgeous family photos!

Yup, family sessions in the snow can be awesome! We built a fire, had some cocoa and I believe I was nailed in the head a few times with a snowball…ahhh boys… 😉

I had the pleasure of traveling back to Cochrane (our old OLD home town) to photograph this lovely Mother and Daughter. I LOVE photographing children, but it was kind of refreshing not to have to cajole a two year old 😉 I only had to promise these two that we would have fun while we captured some beautiful images. And boy did we! It was like walking with old friends while we escaped a major rain storm by minutes. Phew! What made this session neat was that it was a gift from the daughter’s friends as she’s getting married this fall. Here’s just a few of the images that we captured ~
